I guess you've been to a terrible week, exploring and learning the hard way in coming up with a blog page. Thus, I gladly congratulate each of you for having done your task. I f you won't stop exploring, I know there is more that you can do to make your page appear more beautiful, more informative, and above all more learning from!
This week's task for the Bloggers shall be posting your experiences while you create your own comic strip. It could even be more commendable if you can post in your blog page the comic strip that you create. Likewise, also post here the sample design of your personal search engine which is required for you to do just "for fun".
May I remind everyone too, that in Nicenet, you have a new topic for discussion and an attached task, which is to create an ABCD objective. The links to the articles for reading and the link for the sample was also posted there and is posted just below:

ReplyDeleteAfter A deep reading on the link you've given to us, there are still some curiosity in my mind about my lesson objective. I seek for more information yet for now, I only depend on the URL you give to us. Then it makes me clearer knowledge to identify the bad objectives that I made on the past subject that we are given task like this.
Ma'am! Below is the lesson objective that I make, depending on the ABCD method.
Lesson objective:
Considering the given examples of matter,the learner may able to identify clearly the phases of matter, within 30 minuets of experimentation and observations.

ReplyDeleteAfter all the sacrifices I've made,I'm so proud that I did it already.Doing those task Ma'am is so difficult,you really need enough effort, patience and a strong determination in order to accomplished those task you've given to us.Sometimes, I thought it's better to quit but through realizing the fact...that if quit it means I am a loser.So,I decided to go on with the tasks.
By the way Ma'am, I am very much thankful to you Ma'am because through those tasks,you taught us, how to be strong in facing such challenges.I was a great experience to all of us.We really proved to ourselves that we have enough potential in doing those confusing and challenging activities.

ReplyDeleteAs I read thoroughly the links that was posted in our weeek3 discussion here in Nicenet I came to realize that ABCD method of learning objective is both observable and measurable to be effective.
ABCD method provides a very attainable goal for our learners because it provides a map to be our guide for achievements. As we all know that the primarily concern of every methods of teaching and objectives is to promote progress with our learner's that's the very reason why I can say that one of the best tool is ABCD learning method because it identifies and study the Learners first before synthesizing a remarkable means and ways of delivering lessons.
Here is my example learning objective:

ReplyDeleteABCD method is an effective starting method because the main concern here is not merely the lessons but primarily it identifies the learners that you may have mean to say, this is a student-centered method and as what I have observe this method is goal oriented method and very attainable but as what my instructor is always saying there is no such perfect method for writing objectives in a lesson plan and teacher should not also rely to the methods but then they should be creative and innovative to formulate an ideal methods for their learners. Education is a constant in progress we should be able to cope up with it, do not stick with what you have learned yesterday.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Ma,am! In addition to the first work I submitted, I would like to share my ensites about the ABCD method. I think that this method is effective when if only the most educators is open up to get focus on this of method as they are making their objectives.
The advantage of it is that, the learner itself could easily identify the learning they can get at the end of the lesson. Because of the clearer objectives given by the teacher that could help the learner a permanent foundation for learning.

ReplyDeleteWell, it was my firs time to do the job about making funny search engines and making comic strips. At no surprise, I was amazed about what I had learned. Certainly it can be useful in the future as A tool for teaching.
In making search engine, it was quiet easier to make. As what you've said, it is only just for fun. But the joy that I have in making it , not payable by any dollars in the world. Because I never been through this before. The URL below is the finish product of my search engine.

ReplyDeleteAt last! I've already made my comic strip and funny logo. It was very difficult at first in making comic strip because it was my first time to create my own comic strip. It was fun and at the same time it made me tired but still I am happy because I did it. However,in funny logo, it was very opposite with my experience in making comic strip,if how difficult the comic strip is,the easiest for the making of funny logo too.

ReplyDeleteAs I read the link that was given by mam kaye.ABCD framework is another avenue for us as a future mentor.this kind of method is student-centered and goal-oriented it also attainable but as what i`ve learned from our different subjects that there is no best and ideal methods to be used.In this case,teachers should be more innovative and creative in using different methods in dealing with his/her students despite,of the individual differences of the learners.
below is my example of lesson objectives:
Students were given example of the simple sentences;learners could distinguish the subject and the predicate of a sentence in just 5 minutes.
